The real controversial thing that affected her was Born This Away, she lost half of her fanbase

Not at all. She cimented her fanbase and dedicated an entire album for the fans.

I am thinking the controversy that isolated her the most are the BTW era.

She is very vocal with defending LGBT. Many people had reactions over it. Some LGBT folks are against it too cos it make them feel too visible and they don't like that.

And then, when those ain't over yet, she came with Judas which using religious imagery as provocation and we all know, besides race groups, religion are another thing that will create strong reactions when used in non defending way.

Come on, she lost a lot of fans bc people is afraid of being related to something "gay". It's a fact.

She may have lost a lot of fans but her fanbase was pretty "gay" to begin with, BTW only cemented it.

No, for a while, everyone was a Gaga fan. She was the biggest pop star in the world.

Like I said, a lot of fans did leave after BTW but not that many, before her "Fame Kills" tour with Kanye got cancelled, she said this: "I'm gay", she recalled telling West in an interview with Out magazine, "my music is gay. My show is gay. And I love that it's gay. And I love my gay fans and they're all going to be coming to our show. And it's going to remain gay."
