Mr Ricky 9,056
She will get snubbed. So don't get your hopes up. So you guys better start being the keyboard warriors after she loses against something atrocious. Crossfit
Stef 61,598
This is all nice and cute but we need to remember that the artist singing this song is called Lady Gaga and therefore a snub is highly likely Signature loading… 👹🖤

dkelgagad 70
This is amazing! MR totally will get nominations and wins...I truly believe in this getting SOTY. The one thing I would like clarified: it says online that the James Arthur song was released September 9,2016 - so, wouldn't that mean it was in the eligibility period for the grammy's that just passed? It's supposed to be songs and albums released October 1, 2016 - September 30, 2017 right? Wouldn't it not be competition anyway?

Yes, it was a collaboration with Tony Bennett but none the less, Grammy's like to award both on popularity and risk taking.

It really depends on if the output is grammy-worthy and how big the competition is. And let's be honest, ARTPOP was a good album but not grammy-worthy in my opinion. Joanne and MR is far more "risky" and "unusual" for Gaga's standards compared to ARTPOP.
DeanWinchester 41,390
It does increase the chances but I'm still not holding my breath for a win. Flyin' like a 1000 Doves

SEANGT 5,296
the way these things are voted on, safe palatable songs tend to win. I think if it's nominated with anything remotely polarizing it has a good chance to win. For example: everyone lists in order who they want to win. if something is voted as first choice or last choice by a ton of people, it will lose to a song that's #2 or even #3 consistently. anyway not to read million reasons like it's basic but it wasn't as crazy popular as some other songs that could be nominated. KingRedd 3,139
I hope it wins but if not, I wont be upset. The grammys have lost a ton of credibility with a lot of music fans. It used to represent artistic excellence, but now it just depends on how many sales an artist received and how popular they are. I like Adele but an album or a song should not sweep the entire show. It makes the award lose prestige if one song can win you 6 grammys in one night. It basically goes to show that Adele will win approximately 6 grammys every time she releases an album - even though the content isn't groundbreaking or relatively new...same with Sam Smith. I feel as though Million Reasons has a strong chance, but we all know someone will release a single that sells high, and the grammys will give it to them based off sales, popularity, and what makes social media buzz about the show.
