even still, the GP probably wouldn't be as familiar with her as they would be with like Katy or Gaga or Beyonce

Let's just agree to disagree

lmao wut :toofunny: Red sold a million copies first week in the US and sold more than 6M WW, more than her 3rd album If that's what u call a flop then Gaga should flop like her all the time. It's not even a flop by 'her standards'

Thank for bring the truth, Red was her first album with a #1 single too with "We are never getting back togheter" and she started to be know and passed on radio in Europe for sure Red is not a flop

It didn't have much impact. Die Young was its only true hit, the others were flops and the album was a flop (the number six peak on the BB200 is pretty pathetic).

That said, I agree with you that it's a very high quality album. I use a lot of the songs on there. Gold Trans Am, Dirty Love, Supernatural >>>>>> some girls careers.

What killed Die Young (and the whole Warrior era as a consequence) was the people connecting the song with the Sandy Hook shooting :madge:

I still don't get why C'mon flopped, that song was such a damn bop. One of my fav songs of the year. It should've gone top 10 and got the era right back on track.

In the summer of 2013 when my family went on vacations, I had C'mon on loop the whole drive to PA, which is like a 2 hour drive. I never got sick of it. I'm gonna listen to it on Spotify rn.
