I'd say Beyonce. While she doesn't have the instrumental talent of the other two and she most certainly doesn't write her own songs like the other two, there's no denying what else she has to make up for it. She can sing, dance and perform, something Taylor and Katy lack considerably. She's got real star power whatever you think of her. And out of all of them, she has the highest amount of good albums, even if good is only defined as 3/5 stars in my mind. 6 albums, 4 of them are of an acceptable level whereas Katy has only made one good album and Taylor still hasn't made any (in my mind). But she probably has the second worst personality out of them, second only to Taylor. The both of them are right up there on my list of "celebrities who I can't believe have fans because their attitudes are so bad."

Naturally, I am annoyed that she's getting praised while others are not but I'm annoyed because she isn't deserving of such high praise. If her music was truly as good as the public and critics made it out to be, I wouldn't have a problem. But the fact is that she still repeatedly puts out material that is overall, average at best and the majority of it isn't even written by her and she steals off other artists but yet, people are falling over themselves to praise her to high heaven and buy her un-hyped album with no hit singles and overpriced tour tickets. It makes me mad because people who are much more talented and actually make an entire album themselves are getting overlooked and not all their fans can even see them because they won't come to their city as their sales are so bad. Even if they have a hit, they can't seem to sell an album, for some reason. It annoys me how certain artists like Beyonce are allowed to have a godlike aura about them that people mindlessly worship without question, the kind of artist who could fart into a microphone and people would call it high art. This kind of mindset is ruining artistic integrity and affecting genuine artists.

And how do you define "outshined?" When it comes to hits, Beyonce's definitely being outshone. If any other mainstream artist like her had only had one top ten song in the US in the last 8 years like she has, they'd be dragged over the hot coals. That's another thing that annoys me - Beyonce is allowed to get away with flopping because she's come up with this self-centered idea of dropping albums with no hype and thereby forcing everyone to buy the entire thing as she doesn't put out singles pre-album nor does she allow it on free online platforms. People buy it because they're sheep who are buying it because of who she is. Very few other artists could have a success with this plan because they don't have the amazing PR Beyonce has, the PR that tells everyone to buy her work because it's amazing because it's Beyonce. She came up with this idea because her lack of single success with 4 had her shook to death. She wanted a way to have flop singles but not be criticised for it. The rest of the world fell for her cunning plan but I saw right through it.

Beyonce already has 5 number one solo hits and 12 Top Ten hits all together from her own as a solo artist. More than Gaga ever will have at this point in her career.

 

Her last Top Five hit was Drunk In love which was 11 years in her career as a solo Artist whereas Gaga started struggling less than five years in.

Oh, wow, promo sells singles, who knew? Something that's natural and considered par for the course pre-2013 is now considered the sign of floppage. Putting your music out there for people to hear, informing them of its existance, hence, making them buy it is now seen as a desperate thing to do. Good Lord above. And how do you know Gaga will never have more hits than Beyonce in her lifetime? Already she's had more hits in the last 8 years than her. And as Beyonce herself has shown, you can come back with the flop album and sell millions and have a sell out stadium tour. Gaga might make a big comeback one day. You have no solid reasoning for counting her out. I don't know why people like you are even on this site. I have never seen a fansite where so many of its members put down the person who the fansite is dedicated to. If you don't think Gaga's on par with everyone else who you think is superior, just leave and let the people who still think she's great enjoy themselves here.
