Lady Gaga is literally the embodiment of what it means to be a "chameleon" in the music industry. I hate how people just don't understand that. She's always going to do something different and unique and if you're just going to expect her to do pop music wear all these outlandish, crazy outfits then you need to just accept that that's not going to happen. It's just a fact, and people who continually want those things are stuck in their own delusional perspective of who "Lady Gaga" is.

What would Lady Gaga having another #1 do for you personally? That would be her "achievement", not yours. Just enjoy the music instead of looking at pointless chart positions and sales or what's the point?

tbh I think she's saying that to just make sure some fans don't freak out about stuff being "not pop". I mean, Joanne is still a "pop" album, but I wouldn't consider some of the songs on there "pop".

EDIT - Also, I think when she means "pop", I think she means the electronic/dance pop she's known for. I mean, "pop", as a genre, is very broad and open so I think she'll slowly but surely make her transition to more definitive genres. Instead of pop-rock, it's rock; instead of pop with jazz influences, it's jazz; etc. etc.
