My country kept Joanne top 5 for two weeks and couldn't keep Witness in the top 15 for one week. 

Quite remarkable honestly to think that just four years ago Katy was wiping the floor with Gaga and now it's a complete 180

I literally asked my mom about how she felt about Madonna in the 80's and 90's expecting her to give some "She was really controversial but changed a lot for women, her impact was felt." kinda speech but she flat out said "I didn't give a sh*t about her."

My dad who listens to 90% rock and introduced me to the 80's never liked Madonna either but he'd say something like "you can't remove her from the 80's music scene" when we were reading a Rock N Roll magazine that somehow featured Madonna.
