bumblebee 2,528
So we often discuss Gaga's music, and let us switch to her lyrics for some time Imagine the following situation. You have been asked to present somebody who has never heard a Lady GaGa song a small notebook of her lyrics to give them the idea about what kind of poetry is most notable in her overall artistry. You can include only 8 song texts, in any particular order. What 8 songs would you pick? Would you play it out safe with the songs like You and I / Million Reasons or would you be a free b**h baby and inlcude Dancing in Circles and Christmas Tree? Sadly, her unreleased material can't qualify. Considering the thematical and sonic diversity of Gaga from album to album, this must be an uneasy task to shortlist just 8 of her songs. You can also highlight her strongest lyrical moments. If there are enough people replying to the topic it would be fun to count her most picked songs lyrically! My list would be: The Edge of Glory Bad Romance You and I Paparazzi Marry The Night Gypsy John Wayne Speechless Share yours!
