Labels aren't usually too fussed with demos post-album release than they are with unreleased songs, as these could still be used/sold onto other artists. I love unreleased songs as much as the next guy, but I ADORE listening to demos to see how the creative process changes. You can't deny that some of the ARTPOP demos have been absolutely fascinating - seeing Aura's various demo stages, for example, shows how intricately she had designed that song from the very start.
