It's especially shitty when they aren't members of that community themselves. I don't think this is really that defensible tbh.Ā Mariah is donating to GLAAD, but she could be doing more. This is partly a move to help GLAAD, but also partly just to raise some money for herself or her team or whoever, so its not "really" that great. She doesnt deserve all the praise in the world for it or anything. If anything, we should ask more of allies.
