Mmm idk about that. Madonna is a musical icon and she has a fragrance.

Yeah the ingredients are a matter of opinion I guess? I just meant that most celebrity lines go for a sweet/candy scent or a strictly floral scent (ex. Britney Spears, Mariah Carey, Katy Perry, Paris Hilton, Madonna, Kim Kardashian, SJP) and in looking at her ingredients I don't think she went that route :P

That's a good point. I like that she's being different.

Well there are florals in there...hmm...but she adds incense, saffron, and honey so thats definitely unique.

****.. I just got caught. Yes it's me little monsters, it really is GaGa typing this. I was only trying to throw you all off because I didn't want 'Fame' to leak. Now that we have established that. Answers to questions.

- The reason why I kicked Laurie Ann out on her ass was because she kept getting Paws Up confused with 'Put Ya Monsterz Up'. So annoying and I'm not here for that.

- All the promised music videos - I just don't have the time but one day soon, I will put them out. Maybe this year.

- I am extremely flattered that the Queen is performing MY song on HER tour. I recognised the changes. It's extremely flattering, but I can't be angry. She is she, and I am me.

- Taylor is my beard. Tara is my one and only. (No-one go to the media with that one plz!)

- ****. SEPTEMBER. The new album is called...........

:troll:

I had to. Just couldn't resist.

:lmao: :flopromance:

This post makes the whole thread tbh.

Oh, hello Middle Ages. Or, alternatively, America in the 1950s.

umm, you can shut the **** up--you don't know me, and you are not allowed to speak like you do either.

men wear cologne, and women perfume--that makes sense. i know i as a straight man would never say, "oh, i'm wearing perfume...for men." that sounds ridiculous. likewise, a woman saying she is wearing cologne would sound stupid.

don't give me your bull****, snarky remark--first off, idgaf what you think, and secondly, there shouldn't be that connontation of the girly gay guys who love fashion and perfume and all that ****. sure, some gay guys are like that, but that image doesn't represent the entire gay male population. that's all i'm saying.

the ignorance of some people

And it's like really toxic

Maybe she's re-doing the telephone video and killing everyone

The primary market is FEMALE, and women generally want a perfume that makes them feel s-xy and feminine.

So marketing as unis-x is silly. If you want most men to buy, you have to label as "for men."

Whether you like them or not, they are musical icons too... and not just pop stars

But you haven't mentioned the bad in this. I mean, the Kardashians have their own fragrance! Madonna didn't make her fragrance for years. I don't consider Beyonce a musical icon, either, because she has yet to prove her music has an influence outside of the musical world.

Imo I think more times than not, a juvenile musician (which Gaga is, 5 years is not a long time) who makes a perfume is not improving their image with it. Better to wait like Madonna did.

True. But if you're looking at comparisons like the Kardashians having a perfume, you could compare/criticize them for a lot of things. They both spend an ungodly amount of money on fashion, they are both very very famous and so on... I don't know. I do see your point though that it IS too soon for her to have a fragrance and she should establish herself through her music first and focus on those things later but... i guess she's just taking advantage of what she has now and what's being offered

it's just a perfume.

maybe she just wants to connect with her fans by giving them an idea of the smells she likes and being able to walk out the door feeling confident when they are wearing her perfume?

and WHY are LGBT charities the only one you mention? What about the poor, starving, homeless children? Why not donating to charities for them too? -_- I understand a large portion of her fans are LGBT (which I support), but that's not the ONLY cause she should ever support in her life.

Do you really think Gaga is making this scent because she wants them to feel confident in how they smell :usrs:

And I said LGBT charities because a) a lot of poor, starving, homeless children ARE part of that community, b) Her last album was called Born This Way and it only feels proper that as long as that's the album era, it's where she should focus her charities, c) The time to support LGBT people is now. 15 years from now, the levels of equality will be much greater.

I'm kind of obsessed with perfumes/colognes so any time a celebrity makes a fragrance im intrigued. You can all say its tacky or whatever but in terms of maintaining her relevancy I think its a smart/natural move. Besides, no offense to any Mariah fans on here, but no celebrity fragrance line could be more tacky than hers. None.
