Supercut made me so ****ing nostalgic and emotional i started compiling my photos with my girlfriend to make a video with that song as a background

Reading this made me tear up for some reason  That's so beautiful.

Supercut is seen as a bop, but its actually one of the most emotional tracks to me. The way it builds up but never fully explodes.

'Cause in my head (in my head, I do everything right)
When you call (when you call, I'll forgive and not fight)
Because ours are the moments I play in the dark
We were wild and fluorescent, come home to my heart, uh

OT:

The Louvre.

Even if my past romances and crushes have never worked out, the way I felt about them always felt so strong and powerful and real and its hard for people to understand it since these never became super public or understood relationships. This song is like a fictional tale, and "broadcast the boom boom boom boom and make em all dance to it" is like... a power I wish I had sometimes. Like she's making people (both the people she likes and everyone else at this party) understand her feelings. I think about this kind of thing often and I get sad because I wish it were that easy :/ It's a similar sentiment on Writer in the Dark to me, and its a freeing thought to be able to do that. It's also really making yourself vulnerable putting your feelings out there like that. This song is a masterpiece tbh - the way the chorus is basically not a chorus, the melodies, the poetic lyrics, the beautiful outro

Second Place is Hard Feelings/Loveless

"Three years, loved you every single day, made me weak, it wasreal for me, yup, real for me
Now I'll fake it every single day 'til I don’t need fantasy, 'til I feel you leave
But I still remember everything, how we’d drift buying groceries, how you’d dance for me
I’ll start letting go of little things 'til I’m so far away from you, far away from you, yeah"

What else is there to say. This made me literally tear up when I first heard it and Loveless deserved to be a whole track tbh.
