The biggest artist in Korea kicked off his global stadium tour just down the street at the same time. Not even Beyoncé or Snake would have fared favorably 🤷🏼‍♀️

The fact that the venue was largely filled is a testament to Britney's global relevance that she did so well against the most popular local act despite last promoting in Korea like 14 years ago.

It was probably scalpers misjudging demand

Britney had to compete with THAT crowd. There's only so many pop music fans with enough money to see concert tours in any given city. Shame on her team to not do more research before booking her venue for that date.

You might know his group, BIGBANG better for constantly scalping new trendy groups like BTS despite being 10 years in the business :gaysia:

You'll never make a great show out of laziness,  I hope that'll show Britney she needs to retire and make money somewhere else or actually take dance classes again and sing live again like she used to when she wasn't lazy.

She actually sold the shows out, while you couldn't even manage to read a thread

"Britney Spears Seoul concert feeds on ’90s nostalgia"

"Concert organizers opened up 17,000 seats for the event, with the highest-priced VVIP tickets at up to 220,000 won ($195). The actual attendance, however, was estimated at 12,000 concertgoers, organizers said."

http://www.koreaherald.com/view.php?ud=20170611000184

So the attendance was around 12,000.

But whats with the title?

She only has 2 songs from the 1990s in a 27-song set list and only 4 teen-pop bubblegum songs in her 27-song set list; a set list with top ten U.S.  hits from three separate decades.

Are people tying to suggest that she's still mostly a former teen pop star?  Like it or not this title is more fitting for Chrisina Aguilera than it is for Britney Spears because if you look at the stats, you'll see most of her hits actually come from the 90s/early 2000s.
