Another song which has to go early is

Don't Let Me Be Misunderstood with 6.630 Points

---My personal comment---
This is the worst cover Lana has ever recorded, in my opinion. It sounds flat and does not belong onto the album. The Other Woman had a place on Ultraviolence since it contributed to the story, and Blue Velvet on Paradise because it was used in the H&M christmas commercial. This however, is unnecessary and does not add anything to the album.

---Rater's comments---

@Sunshowers Lana loves a good Nina Simone, doesn't she? Not as good as The Other Woman, but almost. The organ(?) and violins make this.

@AJK273 This is probably one of the best songs on the album and its because it is a cover. This song should've been in the middle of the track listing because it gives air to the album. Overall this album is messy in spots and this song is what should have been the album.

@sethrb101 If I remember correctly, this is a Nina Simone cover. It's listenable, but I don't love it.

@Moebius I love that organ in the chorus one of the highlights for me

@Evan Peters bad, horrible, who let this on the album, untalented, dumb, idiotic, boring

@PennyroyalTea Giving this score (5) cos I very rarely listen to this song. The cover in itself is not that bad, but she has done so much better ones too... Maybe it's just as an answer to Swan song (she's not quitting music even though the song has hints to it depending how you interpret it) and maybe to the media backlash she got during Ultraviolence, she's been misunderstood many times in her career since the beginning. I find it unnecessary on this album.

---Scores---

Lowest:
1 - @Steve Nasty @Evan Peters

Highest:
10 - @Trepadation @Peto @Sunshowers @FFXSoul91 @Creyk

Dont get why people hate this song so much it's a beautiful cover

The first song to go today is, quite surprising actually...

Swan Song, with a total score of 7.367 points

---My personal comment---
I remember everyone freaking out and thinking Honeymoon would be Lana's last album because a swan song is supposed to be the last work an artist does. I was very excited for this song because of the title, it did disappoint me a little though. It really grew on me after some time and I love the "Put your white tennis shoes on and follow me" line.

---Rater's comments---

Sunshowers: This could be a bonus track on BTD. Except the bonus tracks on BTD were good. It could be a rejected bonus track on BTD.

AJK273: One of my favorite songs on the album, it is just so dreamy and makes me feel things. I know im probably an odd one out on this song but I love it.

sethrb101: This is one is pretty good, but a notch below like Art Deco for me. I still really like it, though.

Moebius: I expected something more self centered but OK, this works too I guess.

Evan Peters: i feel that the verse builds up into something spectacular but then the chorus hits and it's flat as hell

PennyroyalTea: I find this song so underrated! I love the escapism in this song, the feel to get away from everyday life and find meaning with the significant one. Maybe I'm the only one, but it actually even feels suicidal to me.

ChavaWM: is song use to be a chore to get through but when I started paying attention to it, that bridge got me hooked

Another song which goes quite early and is just as surprising as Swan Song's departure is

Music To Watch Boys To with a total score of 7.667 points

---My personal comment---
I really like Music To Watch Boys To, although I find the placement on the tracklist weird. I was so hooked with this song upon release. I am still very confused by the opening line though.

---Rater's comments---

Trepadition: pre-chorus is everything

Sunshowers: I kinda just like the start of this. The verses do almost nothing for me. Also, queen of being fascinated by flamingos. I live.

AJK273: Lyrically I prefer MTWBT over a few songs on this album but I still don't believe it is one of the best on here. This song should have been more uptempo and not dreamy. The song's lyrics and structure lend it to a bop that shall never be.

sethrb101: The instrumental stands out the most for me in this one. Really soothing. Otherwise a pretty simple song.

Moebius: I LIKE YOU A LOOOTTT :twerkbop:

Evan Peters: honestly? worst song she's done in a while. Coachella - Woodstock in My Mind is better and that's saying something.

Highest score:
