don't remember Joanne being #1 or #2 either

Despite this thread having next to absolutely nothing to do with Joanne, you remember it being #3 tho :giggle: (OCC said it would have been an easy #2 if one of the UKs biggest album sellers didn't release in the same week)

And that was final chart numbers too, this is just one day in after the frontloaded preorder numbers have been counted, its already falling on iTunes so #4 will obviously not be its official peak, keep it cuTe

Deserved in my opinion. As a whole the album is awful, only like 5 songs are good and just one is amazing.

She's done quite a bit of promo in the UK, hasn't she? I'm surprised at this underperformance, tbh.

Wow, a lot of positivity coming from most of you. If only this fan base had supported ARTPOP this much despite the commercial underperformance...

I love Witness the song; audio is mesmerizing. Lyrics are cringeworthy. I like the chorus.

OMG THE DEJAVU HOUSE TECH VIBE IS AMAZING; I WANT PURE INSTRUMENTAL ASAP :OOOO

Hey hey hey - it's meh :neyde:

Roulette reminds me of Sonique - Sky+ La Rouxe vibes :emma:

Power - instrumental is crap.

Mind Maze - don't like it.

Miss You More - don't like it either :neyde:

Tsunami - Sounds like something Lorde would make.

Bigger Than Me - I like the intro.

I stopped listening to this. her voice is just all the same. I don't like that. I need more substance.

Doesnt change the fact that it's probably one of the best female pop albums in '16/17 in cohesion, innovativity, production, musical aspects etc. Really good job Katy and all the best for its commercial performance.

Y'all complaining about the #4 spot when we like to use MR and Applause getting to #4 BB as an achievement

It's the small UK chart though, not the US BB.  I think over-exposure may be her biggest problem here.
