What's your point here? You're outraged without knowing the full story. I'm sorry that I don't agree with labeling this man by a one off incident that wasn't captured in full.

Nasty comments, but I feel like there could be more to the story.

The man is at a table with a woman and there are a group of girls next to his table with takeout boxes. He was getting frustrated because after he said "get going" they still hovered there and then he stood up and the group of girls all said "let's go let's go".

I don't see him ever approaching their table?

Did you not notice that this group of women were walking past him, when he shouted at them to leave this country? Then they were like, "what do you mean leave this country? This is own home, too!" Before he called them camel-****ers (or was it camel jerk-offers?). Or am I blind/deaf?? :duck:

Calling the girls camel jackers isn't enough to be outraged?

I must live in another world.

"He's frustrated"

No amount of frustration justifies an old man telling to young teenage girls to leave the country and then when one of them answers with "disgusting" he gets up and yells "you ****ing camel jacking mother****ers" in threatening tone and that is a typical racist slur used against Arabs and Muslims and you still don't want to condemn the guy and call him xenophobic, lol.

Not to mention, other guests would say something to the management if the girls were the ones who started the whole thing.

He said that crap when they were walking away, after having been standing next to his table for who knows how long. I'm not trying to defend his comments, they were gross.

For you it might be enough.

How many times have I said he reacted poorly, his words are gross, etc.

I simply don't agree with labeling him as an outright xenophobe based off one incident. All we can see from the start of the video is a group of girls surrounding his table which pissed him off. We don't really know what started this incident.

Certainly you've said hurtful things in your past? I remember you saying something along the lines of  "living off all these white tears". I don't think you're prejudiced against white people, I just think you made a mistake and were frustrated at the time.

I see you can't even have religion on this site.. Mods are not doing anything to people who are mocking me and my religion. Why? Cuz they have no respect.

Report it  Two people have been banned today alone for saying hateful crap about religious people. Even if we do warn someone, that's no sign that they'll stop. We can't control anyone.

But there is a difference between criticizing a religion and attacking the religious. One is hateful and ignorant, the other is just a discussion topic. If you disagree, then argue that point with them in a constructive way  show the another perspective and hopefully you'll change their mind.

Y'all know how I feel about this, I've shared my thoughts on this whole issue a billion times :laughga: Above all, we have to respect each other. Unfortunately, that means sometimes we have to tolerate and be civil with people who hold frustrating opinions that we couldn't disagree with more if we tried.

Spoiler

And again, hate isn't an opinion. I'm referring to those that dislike religion and are critical of it as an idea, not those that hate the religious or express xenophobic/racist stances. I feel like my posts in this thread are being read completely wrong and I don't know how to state it any more plainly than this :laughga:

Disgusting and sad.

That's one of the horrible side effects of terrorism. The innocent muslims who have no part in this mess end up being victims to intolerance. Guys...you need to realize that the #1 victims of terrorist attacks are muslims themselves. It is a battle between all of us (including tolerant muslims) vs extremists. So sad to see this happen so frequently. In Spain I saw a group of men literally verbally abuse an old muslim couple while they were walking and it was heartbreaking to see. It's becoming a daily thing and I'm worried for the muslims that have nothing to do with this mess.

I know the religion itself can be debated and stuff but please guys leave the tolerant, normal muslims alone.

No he is a xenophobe. If he wasn't he would of just called them the "b" word and told them to "f off" or something. Instead he specifically chose racial slurs to attack them. Case closed.
