Bradley 59,064
She's one of my favourite artists so I'm not a hater here if you think I am. Harmonising can sound beautiful if you do it right, but for some reason, Katy's harmonising sounds off af. I appreciate her effort in trying to make her songs sound different live but she does it wrong 3:27-:3:30 - find out who is really there for meeeeeeeeeee 3:40 - I fell deeeep! 4:30 - you will never put me down agaaain I'm glowwwwin 4:47 - in fact you can keep everything exceept for meeeeee!! 5:02 - part of meeeee! it sounds like she's screaming more than singing I dk but Katy if you want to harmonise, make sure they're rehearsed and not randomly improvised. Unless you have a great sense of what sounds good, I really think you should stick to the studio way of singing it.
Bradley 59,064
I don't want to compare artists against each other but the way Gaga sings our hybrid can withstand these things, my heart can beat with bricks and strings at 2:07 was absolutely beautiful. Katy that's how you do it

CheapGin 561
Honestly I liked Part of Me in this and I don't care for Katy's live voice. But I feel like if she did it with the right producers she could have an unplugged era. Maybe that will be her C2C era for Witness damage control

Kermit 15,807
It's about as off as Gaga trying to imitate Janis Joplin's vocal type, in her cover of What's Up, at artRave. “For me, insanity is super sanity. I mean, I understood what she was trying to do but she needs to get in touch with the raspier part of her vocals if she's going to scream like that. She used gut force without appropriate vocal halt. “For me, insanity is super sanity. The normal is psychotic.
