I actually thought Poker Face and Lovegame were annoying, and I used to talk s**t about her. Then I saw the Bad Romance video was a like, "DAMN, this girl is the real deal." These looks were basically what scared me off Spoiler BUT during TFM monster, I found out she was bi (which was around the time I was figuring out my sexuality too), OZZY OSBOURNE LIKED HER (super obsessed with him at the time), and she was super into classic rock and metal Then, suddenly seeing pics like this in Rolling Stone. However, I had been a fan of Tony Bennett for a couple years before I heard Cheek to Cheek. I was completely floored at how great her voice was especially on songs like Nature Boy and Lush Life - among two of the hardest songs for Jazz singers to sing. I heard Joanne last year and appreciated the sound she was going for. I then finished listening to the remaining portions of her discography and really appreciated how talented she is. A friend of mine also dressed as her for halloween and that got me even more interested. And finally listening to Just Dance on HD speakers is what finally hooked me.
