So I've been listening to Gaga's discography a lot this week (more than usual) and I was wondering what your favorite Gaga album is and why! What are your favorite songs from it? Do you have a lot of memories associated with it? Has it always been your favorite Gaga album?

Discuss and let the positivity flow, ladies :gaycat:

My favorite is The Fame Monster. I love dark pop and all the songs on the album have high quality and the videos are perfection.
The album artworks are amazing as well! :tony:

My favorite songs from it are Bad Romance, Dance in the Dark and So Happy I Could Die.

Born This Way.

I started stanning for her around that era and its her only album that I dont skip a track. The visuals were also everything from music videos to tv performances. My life as a stan began glorious. My top tracks are BJAF, Electric Chapel, & Scheiße. :D

Born This Way even though most of the songs sound like demos. It's the most original album, she wasn't affraid to release several 5-minute songs. The visuals are EVERY PHUCKING THING.

Joanne, and the haters can leave :classy:

Lyrics and vocals stand out among all her albums, although BTW is a very close second overall

I love ARTPOP.

I just really like the rave-styled EDM vibes it gave off. It has a lot of energy and Gypsy & Applause are such grand songs. I like every song on the album (even Jewels N' Drugs :classy:).

Applause, Gypsy, Aura & G.U.Y. are four of my favourite songs by Gaga.

Dope is also such an emotional song, I love it.

:bye:

Gotta say though, I really love the rest of Gaga's stuff before anyone snatches me. Born This Way comes close but ARTPOP takes the cake.

Born This Way because of the music. All of the songs are great and it was like finding treasure when listening to the instrumentals, they are very unique and 80's inspired. The imagery that she used for the entire album made it also so much better, it was mysterious, dark but sexy in a weird way.

Everyday is a different one between these 3:

I love TFM, very dark and the visuals are everything, I like every song (probably because there are just 8) +Favorite Gaga songs DITD and SHICD

I love every video from BTW, and the overall aesthetic, but there are some songs I don't like. + It contains my favorite Gaga song ever along with DITD and SHICD, Judas.

ARTPOP is when I became a STAN, and my first Gaga concert and everything, it has a beautiful meaning to me. The only song I don't like is Jewels N'Drugs, and Aura, Venus, GUY, MANiCURE (still better than A-Yo) are firee

So I can't decide

Spoiler

What I do know is my least favorite album, Joanne.

I'm sorry guys, but it's just not for me even tho I like it because it's Gaga's.

I've always loved Gaga for her Avant-Garde out there style, musically and looks. For me, ARTPOP was the epitome of everything I love about Gaga. A **** it attitude, pretentious arty descriptions, double entendre s, hidden meanings. It's the album I listen to when i'm getting ready to go out because it fills me with energy and buzz to go **** **** up. Also, many say that it's overproduced but it's the only album that I could listen to instrumentals only because they're so interesting. The violin twinkly sounds in the back of the song ARTPOP and the secret violins over the chorus of Applause are my favourite things in music.

I think for me it all started with The Fame Monster. I was going through a phase of rejecting anything mainstream and then I started hearing about this "Lady GaGa" and I was initially very dismissive of her. And then I decided to do some research and I fell in love after watching a few interviews, especially this one, and others around that time:

The Fame Monster, for me, is peak Gaga visually, sonically, and as an enigma. Everything about it was amazing. She was mystery, intrigue, authentic, weird but mainstream, deadly but sweet  — even the way she spoke; she doesn't even speak like that in interviews anymore. There was something about that character that she had created for The Fame Monster era that really satisfied me. Or maybe that's just what I reminisce because it was when I first discovered and fell in love with Gaga. :staymad:
