In the US, as of Mar 2017, the average pay for a Registered Nurse (RN) is $28.47/hr or $60,616 annually. That depends on the Province and several technicalities But Medical workers in general make less in Canada than in US. It is not because they are paid little as our doctors make salaries comperable to Doctors in other developed Nations. Its that American doctors make a lot But depends a lot. I have a four year degree from the Ph but I was caught in several policy changes in Ontario so they wouldn't let me practice on the same level as their 4 yr degree nurses.
