Wow, huge lineup

I'm curious as to what sort of songs they'll sing. One would think it would be a lot of slow, sad songs, but at the same time you'd want something a bit more high energy because you want it to be a celebration of unity rather than just a sadness festival. But I can't really imagine Ariana doing S2S or Katy doing BA and everyone dancing when it's a pretty somber event.

I don't want to sound insensitive, but at least four of those are going to promote their latest singles there. The main reason someone like Niall Horan is there (because let's face it - why would he be there?) is to promote Slow Hands like he's been doing last week on practically every TV show, Katy Perry is there to promote Swish Swish and her new album (she's been actively appearing on TV in the last two weeks), Miley is promoting Malibu and Take That will promote their newly-released album.

 

I like how Usher, Coldplay and Pharrell are set to perform there, but have no new music or anything lined up. Seems honest.

 

The others? Partially honest, but also to ***** out their latest singles. TRUST ME, don't be naiive to believe it's just a coincidence they are lined up all while on a big promo tour individually themselves.

Idk why gaga is distancing her self from this, everyone knows nobody will say no to lady gaga if she wanted to be a part of this. This is one of those times I question gaga's motives.. Why hasn't. She even tweeted?

Nice! But, I think they organise this too quick. I hope everybody who attended the original Manchester concert is able to get tickets. They need to purchase them before tomorrow night... That's very soon. TOO soon, if you ask me.

Niall and Ariana are close friends, as she is with Katy and Miley. Yes there's promotion, but they're all close friends so to say it's only for promotion is heartless. Ariana asked to help for the cause and they gladly obliged.

I really look forward to Ari  getting back into the saddle again and this would be the perfect opportunity to do so but just don't be disappointed if their conservative values over there don't allow that just quite yet. I love you Ari you are a good girl and didn't deserve or cause this so keep a short memory and get ready to hit next time up to the plate...*Hugs*

to be honest, I am glad that Gaga isn't part of this, because it would seem a little bit weird after she didn't make any comments about the tragedy Not judging her based on her social media updates etc, but I wouldn't feel comfortable about it knowing she joined the cause a little bit late. And the sales will be the same with our without her, so she wouldn't even make any difference in the financial sense.

All of them are close friends with Ariana btw plus it's a private not televised event so it's not like their promo is gonna do anything
