I really like him but he's not that big and I'm sure he'd get the least amount of votes on GGD lol

I know  cruel world who don't see the talent

Bruno Mars: He's talented vocally, but still strains a lot and I don't care for his tone. He can dance, but once again I don't care for his choreography. I'm personally not a fan of his lyrics lately either; from what I've listened to, he's shown a decline in lyrical content from his debut imo. He seems very cocky as well.

The Weeknd: Obviously the best in terms of visuals. He has a unique voice, which I love in studio but I think needs improvement live. He seems nice, he has good lyrics and he's cute.

Frank Ocean: He's daddy and his songwriting is great. I love his music, it separates him from the other two. Can't say much in terms of choreography or anything since I haven't seen many of his performances, but he sounds just as great live.

Personally, Frank > The Weeknd                                                 > Bruno Mars.

Frank is a million much better than the MJ impersonator and Bruna.

Imo they all have nothing in common.

Frank

They're all R&B Artists

They're all black :hor:

They're among the biggest names in modern R&B

Their subgenres and styles/influences under R&B vary, though Bruno and the Weeknd are more similar when it comes to the themes/topics they sing about (girls, partying, and being rich/top dog).

The Weeknd earlier in his career had more alternative and experimental R&B closer to Frank's field and his he's gotten more commercial he's had songs that could fit into Bruno's style ie Can't Feel My Face.

Their primary styles may be different, but they have more in common than you think.

Radio Ga Ga

I definitely like Bruno the most, but his recent work got me like :awkney:

he still has that great voice and dance moves though, but I guess I only like his ballads and other songs that show off his vocal talent

the best artist should also based on facts and numbers. because if you are going to choose between their talents and skills, all of them are great in their own way depending on the taste of the person. if you base on number of awards and number of hits worldwide, i think it is Bruno Mars who topped among those 3 listed. Bruno mars got 7 #1 hits in billboard and i think is the bast male artist so far in this decade. He also got 5 grammy awards, The weeknd got 2 grammys. And Bruno Mars is known worldwide and has number 1 hits in multiple countries.

The point was to get people's opinion. Commercial success ≠ superior artistry. The Weeknd didn't go mainstream until 2 years ago and Frank's music isn't radio friendly/commercial so it's not a fair comparison to Bruno. With the grammys being a popularity contest, it's not surprising Bruno has the most awards between them. Plus Frank Ocean boycotted the grammys with his last 2 albums and has released far less material than The Weeknd and Bruno, so of course his numbers and awards/nominations would be much lower comparably. Therefore opinion and personal taste have more credibility/merit in this case, over commercial success and grammys.
