Katy is flopping because she is release flop worthy songs. They are honestly god awful. Completely incomparable to her previous music. We felt bad for Gaga during ARTPOP because the music was good. Applause is one of the best EDM/pop songs in the last decade, and it was brushed aside faster than it should have been. But CTTR, BA, and SS are just poor songs. Katy, you really need to go back to the drawing board on this one. When she flops AFTER releasing GOOD music, then i will feel bad. At first when people started comparing it to ARTPOP I was the same way and thought well to be an ARTPOP era the album has to have good music. After listening to the snippets and some of the songs already released I don't think it's at the level of ARTPOP since it is my favorite Gaga album but this music we've gotten is nowhere near bad in my opinion. In a way different than Gaga did with ARTPOP? I enjoyed the AP singles but nothing else on the album was as good, and I haven't cared for KP singles but BA and SS are ear worms and I hate myself for having them stuck in my head Perhaps I'm one of the few who still thinks AP had a lower caliber of work than her previous efforts, while KP seems to be staying pretty consistent.
