Opinion of Joanne

Though I had some small issues with it when it leaked, I still loved it upon first listen overall. That said, I would say that I love it even more now. Even my least favorite track "John Wayne" was aided by an awesome music video. I think it's an album of which Gaga can always be proud, and as a fan, I will always appreciate it. The music's of good quality, the lyrics are a bit simple, but you can tell there's feeling behind every line. Her vocals are also the best they've ever been. Looking forward to the tour, which I know will not disappoint.

Haven't even listened to the album as a whole, all the way through, but for a couple of times so far.  Not likely to listen all the way through too many times in the future.  Just not an exciting album for me.  That said I LOVE the following tracks and they are currently in my power rotation: AYO, PI, DIC.  These tracks are in subpower: MR, Joanne, and John Wayne.

I just couldn't get into most of the songs. There are few i really love like Joanne, Sinners Prayers, Million Reasons and A-Yo, but i don't care about the rest that much. But in all honesty, i am not that much into albums anyway, only ones i can listen from Gaga are TF and TFM (my personal masterpiece).

But i am very glad the album did well, we had some nice performances too, so it's not that bad. I was just sad she never performed Perfect Illusion and promoted it a bit.

I think that Lady Gaga has such a potential creativity but talking about lyrics, guys...

Bad Romance, Paparazzi, those are good songs, Scheiße... She's a pop artists, catchy songs, easy lyrics, it's ok, and I love that. But Joanne has something that could make it her best job and that's it.

Come To Mama has such POWERFUL verses. Angel Down could be deeper but it's ok.

I mean she doesn't have to release BOPS and BOPS. Not everything she does it's amazing.

I loved it when it came out. I don't listen to it as much as I would listen other albums after 6 months, though. I think I like it but there is something off that puts me away a bit.

At first : kinda disappointed and trying to find a potential hit.

November-December : began getting really into the tracks

Now : it's still pretty good but I listen to her other albums more

I love Gaga so much but when the album came out I realized it wasn't what I expected. It's a very good album and has some great songs on it, amazing production but felt a little light to be a Gaga album. A couple of months later most of the songs grew on me and I appreciate it more now but it's still missing something.

To me, Joanne was like craving pizza from this excellent italian restaurant that you've known for years and have not been there in a long time but you got there and your family ordered pasta. The pasta is good, in fact it's really good but you were expecting to eat pizza and left the place craving for it. Joanne is a great album, better than many other popstars' albums but it's something I didn't ask for. I love it but none of the tracks are in my Top 20 Gaga songs.

The album is a grower and will be her album that ages the best however not enough ppl will even give it another chance so it will remain her most under appreciated record.

I also feel like with Joanne it was the final nail for A TON of fans/stans but at the same time she gained more GP recognition thanks to MR...not enough for her to be a GP queen or anything like that but at least it made ppl less apprehensive about her and at least ppl now recognize her vocal talents. Is it worth losing soooo many fans? idk...time will tell but for now it seems fruitful and worth it.

This was the best explanation of how I felt with the record for the longest time lol!

It is a great album, a little bit underrated by critics, fans and Gaga herself. It has some hidden bops(DIC and DH) and what i consider the best Gaga ballad (Angel Down), this album does not follow a mainstream thread, so is nice to hear something more natural in a era full of autotune, overused tropical vibes and stream. To me it is already a classic.
