They really have only had one 'hit,' but I have known Walk the Moon. I went to two of their concerts before they released, "Shut Up and Dance."

I don't think Gaga counts :poot: her popularity blew up before she got her first number 1 :poot:

But if she does then I hated JD spring/summer 2008 and bopped to PF in September that year

YES! The Tightrope EP was the first thing I heard from them! I have been following their music every since!

ApplauseftAdele

I remember seeing Fifth Harmony & Melanie Martinez back on their seasons of XFactor & The Voice.

I also remember Gangnam Style back when it had less than a million views, and I used to watch victorious and never really expected Ariana Grande to blow up the way she did.

Adele - I remember buying her first album in 2008 in some shitty Target after getting Hometown Glory as a free promotional single off of iTunes with one of those coupon things that they used to have at Starbucks. It's still my favorite Adele song  It's too bad her last album was so boring and uninspired. I've lost interest.

Sia - I became a fan in 2008 after hearing Breathe Me. I remember seeing her CDs for sale in Starbucks and loving the cover of Some People Have Real Problems where she had drawn all over her face. I love her earlier indie music, but unfortunately her new music is annoying as hell to me. She sounds like Tommy Pickles now :madge:

The same ones for me. I knew Sia because my sister had Breathe Me downloaded on our computer back in the day, and I've known about Adele since 2008. I too loved Hometown Glory and remember her guest starring on Ugly Betty. 25 was such a letdown for me.

Justin Bieber actually :laughga: I remember seeing a few of his YouTube videos before he blew up.

I was kind of late to the party with Gaga and I don't really follow anyone else

You're stinky

Ellie Goulding before 'Lights' became a big hit and also before 'Burn' (which made her even more 'huge')
