Despite Taylor & Beyonce's latest albums not being on Spotify (as you mentioned) unlike Gaga's latest, they have more streams overall. Of Joanne's first week units in the US, 85% of it came from pure sales. As opposed to a "streaming artist" like Drake who had just 45% of his latest release's first week units from pure sales. So it depends on the artist. People like Taylor, Adele and Bey are big sellers regardless of their streaming availability. Gaga's units are already hugely weighted towards sales so there's nothing to suggest that people would be forced to buy her music in big numbers since not that many are streaming her anyway. I remember when a BTWBall date had to be age restricted and less than 1% of attendees were under 18. The youth market to Gaga:

Benji 20,113
I can't see Gaga gaining anything out of removing herself from streaming platforms. Her sells are steadily declining and the most hype around her is when a lead single drops which would struggle to lift off the ground without streaming now. Whilst she would survive without streaming, she has nothing to gain by removing herself.
Doot 2
Going to the store is a hassle. I'll keep my Spotify and stream her, thanks. She gets credit for it, and I don't have to go through the hassle of purchasing and storing a physical album.

Chris Evans 8,917
the difference is Beyoncé and Taylor's team are ruthless with bringing down every single link even on YouTube for someone to be able to listen to their music so it gives them album sales adele is an outlier because she was able to sell more than anyone even at a time when streaming wasn't big Joanne sold well with streaming so it doesn't make sense to get rid of it especially now that her streaming numbers are improving with The Cure
NIghtmareElm 2,606
I hate to say this but streaming is the future of digital music. People don't buy digital albums as much anymore. Streaming is kind of a way to combat stealing music. I'm not sure if it's working very well but it seems people are not stealing digital albums as much even though it's still a big problem. Streaming will becoming a bigger part of digital sales.

Seems fine to me I actually kind of agree with you too tbh. I like when Gaga creates bodies of work. Concepts, albums that build an entire world around them. Streaming doesn't appreciate albums You're stinky
thatfoxyfeeling 13,042
No, in order for Gaga to stay relevant she needs to be on streaming services. Her album sales aren't in the same league as Adele or Beyonce. That's why they released The Cure to increase her streaming numbers, hopefully her next album is a hit on AP and Spotify.
