They're not sure yet if the attacker yesterday was acting alone or if they had accomplices, raising the terror level allows for the military to take over policing in crowded areas until they can confirm there is no specific threat, it will then go back down to severe, which means an attack is highly likely and to remain vigilant (which the level has been at for some time now).

The EU issues laws and the member countries have to follow them, the EU has an open border policy and so its member countries must adopt that policy. This would be a huge flaw in security, but there's the catch, these attackers are actually citizens of the countries they happen in.

Blocking entry from immigrants would not have stopped this attack or any of the recent ones in Europe, the ease of communication through the internet is the issue, not open borders.

The problem would only be fixable by severing internet connection to terrorism hotspots, not sure why thats not been tried yet.

His parents are not believed to be extremists and they are not refugees of the recent refugee crisis, they came to the country many years ago. The attacker was born in the UK 22 years ago.

I mean I speak to over a hundred people a day on the telephone in my job as a receptionist at a medical centre and deal with so many people face to face, and it just saddens and shocks me that (despite being a minority) we have so many evil people in all areas who want to end peoples lives, I just can't get my head around the fact that people are willing to end someone's life and what makes it even more sickening is there's no apparent reason, why target young people in particular and concert goers? I'm in shock and I'm just disappointed in people in general. All the good in this world is just spoiled all the time by selfish cowards. Just feel so emotional today its unreal. And its given me a reality check in the fact that who I may be speaking to at work may be dangerous all these thoughts keep popping in to my head and u'm just disappointed in the public and its what I work in at the moment which is a bit unfortunate I guess there's no escape when you feel a bit like you need a breather my job is relentless don't get me wrong I enjoy it but its been overwhelming today I cried in the toilets after being shouted at over the phone by this patient and I don't even cry more than like once a year i don"t know what is wrong with me today. Hopefully I'll be fine tomorrow. But thankfully the area where the surgery is, is peaceful to date its like a big village. I just hope we can get to a point where we have no more terrorism at all! But I might just be thinking wishfully. Sorry to go off on a tangent.
