SlayedForTheGod 665
i was 17 and in my sophomore year of high school. i remember playing stupid farmville to unlock the songs. and i bought the album on itunes. i remember when the single came out i forced my whole family to drive the car to a wifi spot so i could download it. i could cry thinking about those times. high school wasnt great in retrospect and the year i graduated was the start of my depression. so although i love born this way and it is gagas best album, it brings back some times that make me just as depressed as i was back then

I got bullied so hard, and the album and gaga in general really saved me (im not jokig at all) now I look back at it and im so proud that I was such a fighter... I didnt give up and I just waited until thimgs got better... glad im finally proud of who I am in a city that accepts me for it (Berlin)
Miley 5,006
I was 16 years old. I had a hard time accepting my sexuality. But the album made me brave. Biggest impact on my life ♡
Justo 1,192
It's also 6 years since I came out to my family. This album is a masterpiece and has helped me so much.
Andrew 375
The album that defined my late teens. I was 19 when it was released. It was my first year out of high school & first year of college. I used to sit on the bus every morning travelling into the city blasting this album. It to me was absolutely revolutionary for pop music, and still 6 years on it sounds so fresh and different. The tour as well I remember as such a happy time in my life. Born This Way is my favourite Gaga era, and one of my favourite albums of all time. Blue Jeans 3,815
It was the first time that i experienced a life changing record.. it was pop but it was so weird yet so awesome i was 17 when it came out and it just really shape my views on music and it became my favorite record. I believe that Gaga will never top that album but its okay because she's still as talented as before. Born This Way will be more appreciated in the future, even tho it had a massive success its still very misunderstood by today's generation. Happy Birthday playing Scheiße right now to celebrate (even tho i'm a day late... ) Destiny is for losers. It’s just a stupid excuse to wait for things to happen instead of making them happen
jxckk 959
Born This Way was the perfect Gaga album, most of the tracks had that slight experimental new sound but it was still pop and was also dark pop which Gaga does best.
Wet Fire 7,540
It changed me. It changed the way I see others and myself, it changed my life. Every song, every line, every melody...every music video, the performances, the 'weird' looks...everything made me 'think'. BTW is an album that'll never fail to push me forward in life, it'll never fail to make me feel safe and confident and strong and proud. It will always be my favourite album. Thank you so much for this album. Thank you.
