May 22nd marks the 20th anniversary of "The Colour and The Shape" album by The Foo Fighters.  Any fans of this album by The Foo Fighters or of The Foo Fighters in general?

How has this album held up after 20 years?

This is the album that made the group a household name and is still the album that other Foo Fighters albums are judged against. Regardless of how you feel about the album, it's still a pretty solid one with many memorable songs like "Monkey Wrench", "Everlong", "My Hero", "Walking After You", "February Stars" and Hey, Johnny Park!".

One of the worst bands of 90's. Totally overrated. I am a big Gary Numan fan and even their Numan cover is not enough to help me to love them. Their music is so basic and commercial compared to Smashing Pumpkins,   Suede or even Hole.

You don't like them, that's fine. At the same time, calling them "one of the worst bands of the 90's" is hyperbolic, you look stupid.

They are one of the best bands of the 90's, and you can seethe

That J

I've enjoyed them for the most part thru the years and one of my best friends who has the same taste as me loathes them.  He would say they sucked!  Lol.  It's shocking how long they've lasted while doing so well. Nobody expected it!   This isn't the Foo album of my choice but it holds up well for what it was and has some good tracks.
