That might be a little hard. I'd be slayed if Gaga did it tho. I kinda want them to do it in 2018 because that will be to celebrate her 10th anniversary. I was pissed when I found out they were holding the VMAs in LA. I was thinking to myself If they hold it at MSG or the Barkley Center, Gaga will for sure attend". StrawberryBlond 14,881
There would be no point doing this for just the last six dates. If they were huge stadiums, maybe so, but they're just small-medium sized arenas and it's in Australia and Asia, not her biggest markets. As for performing at the VMAs, that's highly unlikely given that she'll be in NZ most likely at that time. When people travel to Oceania, they usually spend as long there as they can to make the trip worth it as it is such a long flight to make for just a quick visit but also because the jet lag is massive. I believe that the reason why Gaga was almost falling asleep at the end of the Bad Romance finale at TMB when she was in NZ was because she was flown over there had to perform so quickly around 8 days or less, before her body could take in the new routine, so she just was exhausted. After this, the breaks between her legs became longer. Ariana gets a 12 day break between Phillippines and her next date in NZ, which is much better but if she has to fly over to California in between that period and fly straight back, she's going to be burnt out. You don't want this to happen to her because she's so tired:

She'd have 96 hours in Oceania to get over the jet lag. I also wanna point out that Gaga had only 6 days max in Oceania before her first BTWB date. I live in the UK and have family who holidayed in Canada and they said the jet lag was awful when they came back, it took days and days to get over. NZ is an even bigger time difference than that. You'll notice that when artists got to Oceania, they stay there, they don't do promo halfway across the world then go right back. It doesn't work like that. Civilians don't do that, singers who have to work their ass off performing every second night certainly aren't going to. I think it's safe to say that Ariana will just want to end this tour before beginning anything new. Most people do that these days. It just makes things messy. I know you want new material asap but you've got to be patient. As you said before, she's given you 3 albums in less than 4 years and may well have another one out this year. I think you can wait a bit longer.

Meanwhile there are 5 days in between the VMAs and Ariana's first Oceania date. Not that big of a difference. Especially when Gaga had just done 3 full length concerts before her trip to Oceania while Ariana will just done one 4 minute performance at the VMAs before she flew to Oceania. Im not saying this will happen because she may very well want to end her tour before releasing. But it seems possible, that she could do the VMAs. Im not saying this will happen because she may very well want to end her tour before releasing. But it seems possible, that she could do the VMAs. The flight from Singapore-Australia is relatively short, all things considered. Most people travelling to Australia don't take a long-haul flight there, a lot of them stop off in Asia first, usually Singapore, just to relieve themselves a bit. As Ariana's planning, a singer can sometimes do some Asian dates, then over to Oceania and then back to Asia. But you don't see them go to Asia, Oceania, America and then back to Oceania and Asia again. That's too taxing on the body and mind. Again, flying from Oceania to California and then straight back again after a 4 minute performance is madness. Nobody does that. It's a waste of time and energy, not to mention flight costs. She'd probably have to take a private jet to do something so brief, which will really burn a hole in the budget. Plenty of artists are off on tour during awards shows and they just have to miss them or, like Gaga, accept the MTV award live during her concert. Plus, singers don't promote like they used to. It's all about advertising themselves through streaming services. That can raise interest more than any promo performance can these days.
Gagz 2,579
I don't follow her, but she seems like she works very hard. I feel like she's been going non-stop for years now.

In 2013 she worked on her first starring role in a sitcom and released her debut album, which went gold and spawned a triple platinum single. Then in 2014, she released her second album and did heavy promo. Then in 2015 she was on tour, did scream queens and released a stand alone single. In 2016, she released her third album, did promo for it and prepared for her next tour. And now this year, she finished her next album and is currently on an 80 date tour. I think whta helps her is that while she works consistently, she doesn't over work, which allows her to keep going at a reasonable pace.
