mcphee 1,790 Posted May 19, 2017 Share Posted May 19, 2017 Side note: The argument that Gaga doesn't try and manufacture number 1's in the studio or at least never has is so stale, she produced ARTPOP with the intention of it being full of 'hits' anyway that aside, Katy just always takes a different musical direction - its always more current/mainstream so automatically she gets attacked for her music being basic when in actuality its just popular to go with that kind of style.
