You sell more albums.

So does it have new songs? How many do other artists normally add?

Dont tell me she will just add the Cure and that's it?

I dont stan other artists at all so I dont know how this stuff works.

They usually add about 4 new songs. 2 of which typically end up singles and the other two remain new added album tracks. Some artists do more or less though.

I hope it's a rerelease with 3-4 new songs (including The Cure), if not we'll most likely not be nominated for AOTY.

Did you read the article? They are theorizing and hinting stuff just like stans do

With Lady Gaga, the music always comes first. The pop provocateur may wear one outlandish piece after another, but more often than not, the wild looks tie back to the project she’s promoting or preparing.

These two thrilling looks could be just another Gaga fashion moment, or they could lend clues to her next phase. With fans still eager for more new material after she dropped “The Cure,” her latest single, at Coachella in April, some have speculated that her clothes could be the first glimpses of a new era. If yesterday’s look is anything to go by, then whatever Gaga has in the pipeline is sure to be wild.

Obviously there won't probably be an era but why is Vogue talking like a fan base

No, they are mentioning the speculation about new projects by their fans.

What exactly is the benefit of rereleases? I honestly dont know.

I remember Sia rereleased her recent album the day GAGA released something last year and I'm like, why?

Do they add songs?  Is it considered a new album like the Fame and Fame Monster?  Is it an EP? What are B side tracks.

Someone enlighten me.

Usually they add tracks or release some new item that was not previously released. Like the Fame Monster rerelease it was the Fame, with the monster album added. It is usually a marketing scheme for more dollars sometimes it adds a narrative.

EP is simply like an album only shorter than 30 minutes

B sides are a common term, in the era of physical record singles you would have your single on one side of the the record (the A Side) and on the B side you would have extras, like an extended version, the Instrumental a remix, or even sometimes an exclusive track or version of an album track.

Now that we are in the digital age b-sides have become synonymous with unreleased/bonus material

"some" means they got it from GGD or ATRL?  :smh:

I think a re-release is the best idea, especially if you want album sales nowadays. Someone in another thread pointed out how Katy always does something unique with her physical album packaging to make stans and casual listeners more inclined to buy the album, we saw it a bit with foil AP but I'd love to see Gaga capitalise on it. Think A cute hybrid between C2C collectors and the BTW collection.
