JohnWayne23 5,227
I was curious to see the overall performances of female acts on the Billboard albums charts this decade. Billboard year-end albums artist chart helped me with this So far we have data on 7 of the 10 years this decade (damn this decade has flown by) 2010-2016 The chart is based on an artist's albums' positions on the Billboard 200 at ed of the year. Major artists can have their newest album at the top of the year end chart and then their older album at the end of the year end chart. For instance, in 2011, Gaga had BTW at #3 and TF at #56 on the year end chart. So that older album's performance still contributes. So i've looked at the female acts that have had great performances this decade Just a reminder that billboard years run from Mid-November to mid- November Gaga is doing really well this decade. Of course Adele and Taylor are the top two. Expect a much higher position for Gaga in 2017 than 2016. Joanne only had 3 weeks of charting in the Billboard 2016 year. And then The Fame is helping Gaga in 2017 too.
