Girl groups are strong in digital sales of the song but weaker in album sales, since the majority of the fans are GP including perverts (EXID, a group became popular after Hani had her fancam on her thigh which propel their song into smash hit) Boy groups are stronger in albums sales (some of them can sell 1M selling album in two weeks or so) but weaker in digital sales of song except Big Bang which is opposite of that, weirdly. BTS is SLAYING the BBMAs (They're nominated). Unlike america male artists, k-pop male groups seem really talented. They can dance and sing and sh*t. I'm not mad about it. So when they debut as BP and missing few members, (which rumored to be on another YG upcoming girl group), I don't take them as YG way to replace 2NE1, and I never will, as that's just some BS for me.
