It and I'm The One are my two biggest guilty pleasures of the year so far.

i prefer the latter, but Despacito is half way decent and I bopĀ to it.

I’m a simple guy to please, if you like Melodrama, we chill.

excuse me, but you posted the wrong link

Ā

jb has nothing to do with the song. he just saw its huge success (1 billion+ views when summer hasn't even started yet) and quickly enough reached for the big money.Ā :madge:

Are you sure he is like that? :(

Maybe it was his management but Justin doesn't seem like the money-hungry type to me

None of the guys who sing on this are Spanish, but this kind of music is huge in Spain as well and I happen to think it's disgusting. It's literally the same backing track with someone half-rapping, half-speaking, half-singing over it with embarrassingly childish lyrics about "screaming one's name", "taking one to their favourite place", "wanting to be with one so bad", it's cliche after cliche after cliche. It's reggaeton.

When it looked like radios dropped the song, then they released Despacito ft JB and they picked it up again. I'm really tired of this song, it's been everywhere here in Spain since the beginning of the year, and the new remix gonna be the song of the summer. Kill meĀ :toofunny:

okay, let's leave the money aside and just think of the popularity he'll get until the end of summer 2017 on the base of something he actually hasn't created himself. for me, this "cover" of Despacito is "legally stolen", so jb could get more fame, money, attention, to be the biggest "bop maker" of summer 2017. for me, this is just sad...Ā

I think he meant song in Spanish, not that the song is from Spain.Ā

Most spanish speakers love this song, and listening to Justin attempting to speak in another language apparently turns them all on :cryga:

However, for me, I just don't like this song, along withĀ basically all of Spanish music.Ā :wtfga:
