Are Fans Afraid of ASIB Being Successful?

I don't understand fans who are already convinced ASIB will be a Glitter sized flop that will get scathing reviews and apparently end Gaga and Bradley's careers dead in their tracks. :rip:

There are lots of things that could happen with this movie, but it being a commercial and critical disaster on the level of Glitter is one of the least likely outcomes, and this project is only taking three months out of Gaga's year. If it does poorly, it'll still be a treat imo.

Some fans seem to be under the impression that if Gaga didn't do these side projects her albums would come out way sooner, but in actuality if Gaga didn't do C2C and AHS we probably would've still gotten Joanne sometime in 2016, and we wouldn't have a whole new Jazz cover album and television role.

We're getting a country and pop album between eras as well as a promo tour in 2018 for the film. If the movie is succesful, which is a possibility, Gaga will probably pursue other acting roles, to the chagrin of the little whiners who just want Gaga to spit out bops for her entire career, never becoming a multimedia icon, and being known only in the pop music field.

I think this is pretty much it.

I'm looking forward to ASIB being successful.

I live outside the space time continuum.

well, since it's her first big role in a movie and it's Bradley directorial debut, if it flops it will be tragic and less people will consider working with both of them in the future

I personally feel it's going to be a success and if it doesn't I'll be happy regardless because I've been wanting Gaga in a serious movie for a long time and I feel Bradley is the perfect co-star and director to make her shine

I think it's that element of preparing for the worst that fans resort to In order to cope with a potential disappointment. Sad thing is it just spoils it for them.

im excited to see it either way whether it's good or bad and I just view it as another part of her career.

It seems like monsters are a bit delusional in their expectations. They either predict things will flop into oblivion or will smash as hard as Thriller. Things are never realistic. Someone said it won't even gross as much as Burlesque worldwide.

I'm afraid of it being a total flop for two reasons:

1. Gaga getting bad reviews and deserving it

2. The fans lamenting for YEARS how amazing she was but the whole world was against her and the critics are evil and she's a misunderstood acting superstar

in fact, no, make that:

Why do you think that?

Bradley Cooper starred with Sandra Bullock in a movie, and Sandra won a razzie.

Also did you see Million Reasons?

It's basically the ARTPOP promise of having videos for each track, and it's all cohesive narrative wise too :trollga:

And Bradley Cooper :trollga:

Honorable mention, I loved Glitter, it was an ok movie but I'm glad it was there. :trollga:

Yes, I also do love partying in moving houses as seen in that one Bacardi tv ad.

I just know it will be successful when it comes out & I wish some fans would have a more positive outlook with things like this :unicorn: Bradley Cooper is such a huge name, everyone still loves him, Gaga is making such good music for it (from what people have already seen) & idk where the worry is
