What does it have to do with rape? she's presenting the idea of putting food on women and eating it (which happens in real life in some parts of the world in luxurious places, and the don't eat the woman, just the food) in a music video. I don't get where the idea of rape came from.

Being a rape victim doesn't mean using that as a card to blame anything and everything for what happened to you. Rape is a horrible crime, but this music video has nothing to do with rape. Understand the concept of it, do some online research and then express how you feel AFTER you've learned what it's all about.

The moment when they ripped off the woman's clothes and blindfolded her, put her in a chair and she was hopeless, defenseless, her freedom was taken from her..

It brought bad memories, I'm human being.

And some people here behaved with lack of respect to me, really disgusting, I just feel bad now, that's it.

It just seems like defending Katy Perry or any other celebrity is above every bad thing that happens to someone who is just a regular person..

I actually love this video so much. For all talk of her ending the "woke pop" era with one single, there's actually undertones of subversion and rebellion in this video. The Capitol-esque people waiting to devour her, the elaborate coup with the chefs and Migos :gum:, even the striking ending shot with the CGI meatfest. It all reminds me of a deep-cut Gaga video just brimming with visual gags and metaphors, blending the surreal and the mundane, plus she looks S T U N N I N G.

So mad props to her with sticking to her guns with a concept! I've missed music videos like these.

There are countless S&M **** videos where one person is defenseless and helpless. Anything can bring bad memories. A song, a smell, a piece of clothing, a place, time, hell even a conversation that occurred before a traumatic event such as rape can remind the victim of what happened and it's really terrible. But that's just life. We do what we can to set things right or get justice and then we move on.

After all, this is a music video and there are much worse things to worry about in the world such as real rape cases that remain unsolved, such as the way the law looks at victims of rape and discrimination, such as war and hunger, that's where we should focus, rather than fighting over a music video which won't do anything to anyone.

Yeah, it may be her DWUW. Really cool and well made visuals, will them help the song? I don't know. But we all know she always has great visuals.

Sure thing, I just expressed what I feel and how I handle it in my private life is my own business, my problem are the replies..

Maybe yes, maybe no. At least she made a music video and respected her fans instead of keeping them waiting forever with no answer nor explanation for months.
