Sorry, but this is false.

The article literally just takes excerpts from an interview that no one has fully read or seen and makes sarcastic commentary on them. It doesn't even pose "questions" for her to answer, so how can we even know if she answered anything  What we do know is that she gave concrete information about how she feels now versus the past and shows that there is a marked difference in her character and outlook on life. She also gives some details in how that outlook will manifest itself on the upcoming record. The article makes it seem like shes a vapid tool talking around points and not a changed woman sharing herself with the world, which is something Lana has had trouble doing in the past. I totally get the "go **** yourself"

There is nothing "concrete" or "detailed" in her answers, i got absolutely nothing out of them. Not sure which conclusions your delulu self drew from these completely vague answers.

Answers require questions.

We don't know the questions, therefore we objectively don't know if she answered them  Idk how else to say that. 

I love Lana. She's my favorite artist (that speaks english  ). But I'm not a die hard fan, follow every interview, all her social media, life, stalk her, meet her, see her live, etc. and even I know enough to know that what shes saying has substance  If that makes me delulu, so be it.

I disagree. Her "answers" are vague for basically any question that could have been asked. Basically all i got out of these answers is that the political situation in the US didn't make her feel good. Queen of details and concreteness.

Oh, yeah, Lana, give me that sass. I love it when women aren't afraid to stand up for themselves, especially in the music industry. This is an industry where men get away with saying whatever arrogant/pretentious s**t they want and, as we've just seen, women will get picked apart for minutia. This is an industry where men can be sexual and have it treated as perfectly normal but when a woman is sexual, it's seen as a distraction from the fact she has no talent. This is an industry where men who are different are treated as genius visionaries and women who are different are treated as annoying attention seekers. This is an industry where a man standing up for himself is a badass boss but when a woman stands up for herself, she's a bitch who's getting ideas above her station. This is an industry where men are praised even if they're terrible but a woman has to be twice as good as them to be considered half as good.

That's also false   There are lots of easy questions that can (and probably were) asked that would make her responses seem very on point  

Some very basic interview questions that would probably fit in this interview: 

"So, Lana, tell us about your new record. What were some of the things that inspired it, lyrically and sonically?"

"Tell us about your love life. Do you think its changed for the better recently? Do you have a new boyfriend?"

"In the past, you have been known to use personas in your music. Is that still a theme on this record, or have you gone in a different direction?"

I'll admit, "happiness is the most ultimate life goal" looks like a beauty pageant, "world peace!" kind of answer, but if she honestly feels that way, who are we to judge? Again, we don't even have context for this quotation, so its unfair to critique it as if we do.

On top of all of this, they take the most "incriminating" (if you will) quotes and presuppose the questions. There are a good 3 or 4 more excerpts already published from the full interview that are more in depth that they've completely glossed over in favor of the ones that help sell the image better. It's shitty journalism trying to make Lana look vapid and its something this writer has been known to do in the past  

I'm not replying to any more of this, I've more than defended my point and explained why Lana's response is totally warranted, disagree if you wish
