For example you had Born This Way that all those 80s influences which came back 1 or 2 years later and one very important example is 1989. Then you had ARTPOP that had EDM and electronic music which influenced the scene in 2015 and even today except the add of the tropycal sound. Now you have Joanne who has clearly inspired artists like Harry Style and even Miley ( who has gone back to her early music but with a slight twist ). So don't say Gaga is not relevant because she is ALWAYS one step ahead. And I will not be surprised if more artists come out in the future with music similar to Joanne. Yes it is a disadvantage that the GP doesn't appreciate it until it becomes popular but I am sure in the long run people will realise and become aware of her influence because the industry is starting to respect her more and more and is already asociated with other legends in music. Our girl is not a popstar, she is not a sell out, she is not a one hit wonder, her cataloge is here to stay and it will stand the test of time. All her songs do. The Cure is even an un-announced bonus but fans even have to be critical of that because shes not "treating the era right." Pop fans are so needy. androiduser 7,438 Posted May 11, 2017 Share Posted May 11, 2017 in my opinion, the people expect more from Gaga, releasing a trendy song is not enough.... people still expect Gaga to set trends, not follow them, even if they're haters and dislike her, they know she's a trendsetter and have high expectations.
