The group's rapper CL stated that the song was "a warning message for the men and advice for the women". The song was a bonafide hit: by October 2012, the song had sold over 4.5 million digital copies, becoming one of the most successful singles of all-time in Korea. There was so much inital hype for this being GGD's first K-Pop Megarate, it had me come up with a few more K-Pop albums I might be able to do, but we need for this one to be a success first. So a casual reminder for the following!
