I mean, she endorses skin bleaching as well. When something bad happens to other black women, she doesn't give a rat's ass but when she's slightly inconvenienced she screams racism from the rooftops. Point out that hypocrisy and say that Gaga is doing exactly what white allies are supposed to be doing: Give visibility to activists that have something important to say and not make everything about herself. Just tell him that he would be out to get her anyway if she said more about BLM, with the reasoning that "She's just using this to portray herself as likeable", and that arguing about this with him would be a lost cause. Plus she repeatedly gave credit to the African American contributions to American pop- and jazz music during the Cheek to Cheek era as a bonus.
