John Wayne is an attempt at capturing old Gaga's essence but it is too hectic and poorly put together and MR is just... Perfect Illusion may not be everyone's cup of tea but the MV was purposely made the way it was made. It captured the song's spirit perfectly and is honestly one of Gaga's greater mvs (not a part of her top 3 but definitely in her like top 5 or something.)
