As someone that studies marketing I think I pretty much now what a marketing strategy is. And this one is a pretty obvious one. You even explained it by yourself. the reason why they fake the views is because of making it much more popular. More views, more attention. Marketing is all about attention and how the GP perceives your image. It's what Gaga says all the time: artists become products and products need great advertising and a good reputation. You can't expect to have them every **** you put out or fully support whatever comes out of your mind I guess it's safe to say BA is becoming an YT hit (whether or not the video gets lots of dislikes lately). And about the possible KP release, I seriously don't think it's a god idea for her to do this. I mean, not even Gaga can afford just releasing an album like that, only certain artists like Beyonce and Adele can pull that off tbh. She does have a lot of promo lined up, but if she uses it all in the first week, after that the numbers will be tragic since she doesn't have a hit single to support the album sales. Katy's new era is a mess and she's one of the WORST pop girl performers of all time, but we can't deny that her videos are still great. Both CTTR and BA have interesting concepts, subtexts, cinematography and budget. Let's be real, this is something that has been lacking in Gaga's videos since ARTPOP. JW is a great start but I need her to fully come back and snatch all these bitches with her visuals. There's a reason why she has lost her youtube power. I know she's doing fine commercially but she's slowly turning into a HAC act, which I know is a good thing for a long-term career (see P!nk), but I feel like Gaga still has so much more to offer as a POP pop girl.
