Midday update aren't very indicative of nothing. You can say that always are higher than final, but not  how much, and that isn't even true every day, or for every song.

But I appreciate the explanation, I really do not follow the midday updates from Spotify so this is all nice information to have.

Dua Lipa'a career is a mess. 5 singles since 2015 (Be The One was a big hit in Europe, Blow Your Mind and Hotter Than Hell were minor hits), and still no album out. She will release it in June, but there's no way it'll be successful. Her momentum is gone and she's going to flop everywhere.

My LastFM looks like **** because of artists who do that. If you have an account, you know what I'm talking about.

Some user made a comparison, and the numbers were crazy, like one day final was -200k and the next was -30k compared to midday. Midday is a liar **** and we don't know her.

Yea, I did see one user (sorry for forgetting your name, whoever-you-are) post analysis of the midday updates to try to formulate a pattern that lead to any explanation. Their conclusion was that it really had no pattern or effect. 

I guess it could be fair for me to ask why we reference them at all?

It was me lol, midday is a liar but it's always higher than actual streams. And tbh, even if she is stable, that's not very normal. She is in a lot of playlists, #3 TTH and still around #35 WW.

for meltdowning if it looks meh, and overhyping and then meltdowning the next day when final number is lower, of course.
