The current algorithm. The more views a song has, the more chances that it will be played automatically after another song.

The problem for Gaga is that she has been out of the radar for a lot of time. If she gets less views in the early hours, it is less possible for her music to play automatically after another music video. There is a 'snowball' effect to the videos that have more views.

To test you can play for example The Cure, and you will end up in some old hit like 2013 or 2009.
