Her team is pushing hard on radio, Apple Music playlists, and most importantly Spotify playlists. (And now a discount in major markets). Now that they did a lyric video, they'll put out the actual video soon and call it a day. Gaga has been around for a decade in this industry. I know it's a change of pace and a lot of fans don't like it, but she's not going to be pounding the pavement worldwide pushing her music anymore. That's a perk for being an A-lister for so long. I think the oscars campaign with this movie is gonna be strong. And maybe, only maybe, if it's really a good movie, it can benefit of La La Land not winning much this year, like several years ago happened with moulin rouge and Chicago. The Academy payed dust with Moulin Rouge and two years later they over rewarded Chicago (a more classic and less unique musical). They even gave an oscar to Nicole for another role the exact same year. The thing is, ASIB wasn't conceived as a shitty movie made for Gaga, a la Glitter. Is an ambitious Β project, screenplayed with prestigious writers, and produced by a legend (Clint Eastwood), where Gaga was chosen and is one part of the cast, nothing more, nothing less. My strongest fear about it is Bradley Cooper as a novel director. I would be a lot more confiden with Clint (that is a truly amazing director) behind the cameras.
