I didn't even know the White House celebrated cinco de mayo tbh Saint Patrick's Day has nothing to do with observing the patron saint of Ireland, it's about green beer and leprechauns. Christmas isn't about the birth of Christ, it's a consumerist holiday. The Orthodox Christian tradition of boiling eggs during lent to save them for a time when they were not fasting has evolved into plastic Easter Egg hunts. Halloween has nothing to do with it's pagan origin, now children dress up as women who were found guilty of witchcraft and burned at the stake. But when the majority of people in America celebrate this holiday they are usually the ones who voted for Trump and don't care about the culture they are appropriating and why the day actually celebrated in Puebla. That is entirely untrue. The majority of Americans who celebrate Cinco de Mayo are not Trump supporters. I have no idea where you are getting that idea from.
