I wouldn't even be too sure about that. The US also had terror attacks in the last years. The USA has had less of these. Furthermore, the minor attacks in Europe seem to happen very frequently (stabbings, police attacked, driving cars into people). In July during Ramadan there is a spike in attacks worldwide, so it is not illogical to think there might be a terror attack in Europe this summer. Nice, France was the most recent large attack around the summer, I believe. Travelers should be warned especially as they will go to tourist areas which may have a higher chance of being attacked. Yea, terrorist attacks happened in Europe, but a travel alert is not going to do much other than informing the public that they happened. In other news, the sky is blue.
