Smother Em Eh 7,125
I know a lot of crap went on during this era. From Gaga's depression to the disagreements with her producers but... it still was such an era to remember! Honestly, this was one of the most iconic pop eras of all time. Name another era with such ambition, craziness, wildness, and creativity! Whether it was the music, the fashion, or the visuals, this era was truly remarkable and unforgettable! It pushed wild and creative boundaries all around. ARTPOP APPRECIATION! 😍 Get Applause & G.U.Y to 1B views!

BurqaSwg 4,681
The ARTPOP era served me so much amazing looks! My favs Gaga looks are in majority from the ARTPOP era. Also, this era was like the one where I made the most personnal memories as a Gaga fan, so many good moments! I just remember me and my friend BLASTING ARTPOP while making costumes for artRAVE, good times
Soliloquy 126
ARTPOP is the era when I really got into Stan culture and joined this messy cult site But honestly, while I always LOVED Gaga before, I was never PROUD to be a monster until ARTPOP Despite all the messy runs, the controversial reputations, I was never afraid to share my appreciation for Gaga after ARTPOP, because I saw in her someone who fights for her ideal, her love and kindness and most of all for us. I don't think we realize how much Gaga has done for us ;-; and ARTPOP is just that album
Guest
Applause is such a unique pop song! It was the ONLY Gaga song that I fell in love with from the first listen until now! The whole album was so colourful-imo-tho it is considered to be dark themed. Bops like DWUW and Venus are true pop gems! However there were songs like Dope, Swine, MANiCURE and Aura that I didn't like and I prefered them to have been replaced by ARTPOP outtakes like Partynauseous! It's one of my fav Gaga eras I really don't give a f___ if it was commercially successful or not!

In fact, I never saw ARTPOP as anything less than what u just said; I didn't at the time & I *still* don't get how/why people would come at her for exploring her art.. There's even fans who've classified it as a "flop", which tbh I don't even get the definition of, or how it applies to the ARTPOP project ... I blame the timing for the whole ARTPOP debate; ARTPOP was the elaborate complex ambitious vision of an incredibly intelligent & talented forward-thinking artist; everything else that was going on at the same time (her personal stuff with managers, health issues, losing longtime friends & whatnot), the media relentless attacking, the requirements of such a project alone, all these made carrying it out unbearable; NOT bc she overestimated what she could do but bc it was simply too much for anyone to handle under such pressure. The only thing that leaves me a bitter taste about the ARTPOP era is that I can't deny she was happy it was over; & it bothers me bc obviously it was a project she longed to give us & had envisioned in such detail & all, had been planning it forever & loved it, u know, thinking it would represent all Lady GaGa was about (the fusion of music, fashion, technology & Art) only to watch it crumble & get ripped to shreds before her eyes-what a shame to be so enthusiastic & proud about something and find yourself to a point u just can't wait to get as far away from it as humanly possible... What a shame, right.. #ARTPOPappreciation 💕 Oh I forgot to mention that there's nothing I'd change about the album, not one track, not one lyric, nothing! And both Jewels & Drugs & Swine are awesome! 😉😍💍💊🐽💜 funked out with a gangsta twist
