Yea I'm pretty well versed in my opinions and viewpoints.

Just because you don't agree doesn't mean idk what I'm talking about thanks

Just because you believe an opinion as fact, doesn't make it so.

Albums are not supposed to be entirely single tracks. If they were, albums would literally be about 5 tracks long. Additionally, singles are hardly ever the "best" (which is subjective) tracks on an album--they are usually the most commercial/most information in terms of what the listener can expect from this album. Filler usually refers to tracks that don't "fit" with the rest of the album, either sonically or thematically, and are perceived to be of lower musical or lyrical quality than the rest of the album. For example, a track that is super repetitive and generic compared to the sounds around it could be considered filler.

For the most part, filler appears in the back end of an album tracklist (nobody would ever open their album with a filler track unless they wanted to flop). Filler does not mean that a song is bad, and most albums have it. Filler tracks can also be released as singles although that's not common.

Been a long time but I'm back in town, and this time I'm not leaving without you

Did I say it was a fact?

I'm pretty sure most of us have the mental capacity to understand that unless stated as fact, it's an opinion. I'm clearly stating my opinion.

If you don't like my opinion then say so and move the **** on instead of trying to tell me I'm wrong for my opinion and writing me an essay on why based on your own opinions. Bye

I'll never understand why Gaga put The Queen in BTW and in the setlist of BTWBT, that song is definitely a filler.

You've been backtracking a lot in this thread but ok lol (ps there is such a thing as admitting you didn't know something about a subject rather than trying to say the truth is an opinion)

It was added on the last leg of the tour so... kinda ok I guess :gaycat:

Spoiler

And she performed it for the first time on my show because fans asked for it so... yeah :laughga:

edit:

About BTW fillers hmmm. I would say maybe the deluxe tracks sound "off" but well... it's "DELUXE" (or special edition, ok gaga n). It's kinda something for the fans. Same for Joanne: It's a WORKTAPE\Demo and 2 other songs, one that sound just like half the album (Grigio Girls) and the other one sound like it was made before The Fame was a thing (JAD) rip

Bad Kids is like... a rib for the whole album. The song concept matches perfectly with the album concept. I would say Bad Kids, Hair & BTW are like... the real meaning of BTW rip.

I feel where Gaga is an album artist, no single track can obviously be pinned down as a "filler track" in the same way ones on an album by a singles artist could, because it seems clear she puts an awful lot of love, effort and attention into each and every track that makes the final cut (I sometimes feel Gaga puts too much effort into her music).

That's not to say there aren't weaker and stronger tracks, or that there aren't tracks that I could live without, but I honestly don't feel, especially from The Fame Monster onwards, that there are any tracks that are there just to make up the numbers, and that's why there is such a variety of opinion about her output, even amongst her own fanbase.

I've not backtracked once. Only stated my view points and stood by them.

The only truth in this thread is that BTW is treated as the Holy Grail within this fan base and overrated to the high heavens when in reality it's a loud and scatter-brained attempt at giving a voice to the voiceless, and it single-handedly brought the greatest pop star of this century to her knees.

Now that is a God damned fact.

They're being ridiculous. Everyone has a few songs each album that don't speak to them, and those few songs are different for each listener. People who call the songs that they don't personally like 'fillers' are just being complainative and immature.

Then before you know it someone comes along who has opposing views and we have arguments. Because people aren't mature enough to accept the fact that each person has different favourites and least favourites to one another.

For example, Electric Chapel, Swine and Just Another Day are some of my personal favourites off their respective albums, but you/OP considers them 'fillers'. And the fact we have different opinions is fine.

I'll be myself until they fūcking close the coffin.

The fillers are Fashion of his Love, Bad Kids, Black jesus, and Highway Unicorn. Maybe the Queen too. The problem is is that theyre all in a row and pretty bad.

AND ARTPOP HAS NO FILLERS besides Fashion! The Fame is plagued with fillers too but they are fun unlike BTW's. I feel like Joanne doesn't really have any (maybe Come to Mama). The album feels so short tho.

I mean if you compare BTW's contents to something extremely cohesive and tightly-knit(quite literally) like The ArchAndroid, then sure. It doesn't flow as seamlessly and maybe it dips in some places. But ultimately, I don't really find issue with these so called 'fillers'. I mean, the only song I'm not a huge fan of is Americano, but I'm not saying that its a filler. I think as a whole it all holds up well.
