It's a twitter bio, not an epitaph, let's not give it more credence then it deserves. Lady Gaga recently had "magazine editor and columnist" in her twitter bio, but that doesn't mean we should hold her journalistic efforts to a Pulitzer Prize standard.

Katy Perry publicly supported both of President Obama's presidential campaigns. She has lent her name to many liberal social and political causes. You should give her the benefit of the doubt, as you would give Gaga the benefit of the doubt, had she made an obviously non-racial but dumb joke about Obama.
